SPRAVATO® is a prescription medication intended for use in conjunction with an antidepressant and is administered intranasally. It is designed to treat treatment-resistant depression (TRD) and depressive symptoms in individuals with major depressive disorder (MDD) who are experiencing suicidal thoughts or actions. In the case of TRD, SPRAVATO® aims to provide therapeutic support for adults who have not responded adequately to other forms of antidepressant treatment. Additionally, for adults with MDD and concurrent suicidal thoughts or actions, SPRAVATO® offers a targeted approach to alleviate depressive symptoms and enhance overall mental well-being.
